My Week With Marilyn Movie Review

This movie focuses on a period in Marilyn

Monroe's life when she travels to England to star in

the film "The Prince and the Showgirl," with the

distinguished English actor Sir Lawrence Olivier.

Marilyn's self-esteem, however, lessens significant

as Sir Lawrence becomes increasingly dangerous of her

work ethic and acting technique. She turns to Colin Clark,

a young production assistant, for help and comfort. He

recomforts  her that she is indeed the greatest actress in

the world. In his interests. Shortly after, he is seen as her personal confidant and companion, albeit, for a brief, yet memorable week.

Eddi Redmayne, who portrays Colin Clark, is the

personification of youthful idealism in love and infatuation.

Redmayne is superb in his role and deserving of high praise.

But, it is Michelle Williams artistry as an actress that Marilyn

Monroe, one of filmdom's icons of the 20th Century, comes

alive, once again, on the silver screen. Marilyn's walk, her

quiet talk, her laughter and her

tears are all clever captured by the very talented Michelle

Williams.

A well written script, and excellent acting by the

entire cast.

One could say this film is a wishful walk down

"Memory Lane." Fans can once again fall in love and

embrace the unforgettable Marilyn Monroe, who had

a way of mesmerizing almost everyone she ever met, even

Sir Lawrence Olivier.

New Alien Planet Ripe for Life?

 Could you imagine that we could live in another planet other than earth !!!

Scientists have discovered a planet about five times bigger than Earth flying the right distance from its parent star for liquid water to exist on its surface, a condition believed to be necessary for life. 

The newly found planet circles a star dimmer than the sun that is located 22 light-years away in the constellation Scorpius (also known as Scorpio.) It passes around its parent star in 28.15 days. THAT MEANS THAT OUR YEAR COULD BE ONLY 28 DAY EVEN NOT A WEEK :) . 

Its star than Earth is to the sun, the planet’s parent star, known as GJ 667C, is a small dwarf star that emits most of its light in infrared radiation.Scientists don't know if the newly discovered world, called GJ 667Cc, is solid or not.If there is any life on GJ 667Cc, it  would be very different from what is found on Earth. Rather than yellow star, GJ 667Cc's sun is RED.

"It doesn't receive as much light as Earth," Anglada-Escudé , adding that if the planet had an atmosphere, conditions would be prime for greenhouse gas production.

2D or not 2D, that is the question

The 3D market is expected to be 25 times the size it is now within four years but many think there is not enough content of buying the equipment. Could "up scaling" 2D content to give it an extra dimension be the answer?

Since the release of Avatar - both the most expensive film ever made. The cost of going to watch a 3D movie in the cinema is higher than a normal film and there is a significant lack of content in true 3D.

As recently as last week, an Informal report stated "fewer than half of the 11 million 3DTV-ready homes in the UK in 2016 will be active and regular users of 3DTV content."

So a number of major manufacturers are trying to make sure everyone with a 3D TV will be using it.

A process has been developed which explain the flat image in real-time and converts it into a 3D picture, with the use of the correct glasses of course. The marketing literature from the manufacturer’s promises results almost as good as the real this. It means that any DVD or Blu-ray, regardless of whether it was filmed in 3D originally, can be watched in three dimensions.

My personal philosophy is that post conversion should be used for one thing and one thing only - which is to take library titles that are favourites that are proven, and convert them into 3D - whether it's Jaws or ET or Indiana Jones, Close Encounters... or Titanic.

Because of the way 3D technology tricks the eye, the way the image is cropped affects how well the 3D image will look. And this has left many experts unconvinced about how good the current technology is.

 Nine years has been spent turning Star Wars into a 3D production.

3D movies have a much higher chance of achieving a big box office than 2D movies: 52% for 3D versus 5% for a 2D movie, 3D movies are almost certain to make money J , an unheard request for 2D movies.

Hi everybody!

Oh! I didn't open since 2 weeks ago. Well, it was a such 2 weeks of term examsL .Thanks god it’s done except for English tomorrow hope I do well .Actually,  I wrote today because I felt bored from studying from the book I just took the main points from the book and look for my notes I wrote in the class.

I found it more interesting to study on my laptop than studying on a sheet of paper and then threw it away and no one can at least read it.

Yesterday, I went to the mall with my mom to buy a new dress for my friend’s birthday. Her birthday’s theme will be HollywoodJ. I discussed with my mom what I could wear with that theme; do I wear like Johnny Depp in pirates of the Caribbean :D or I wear like Cinderella??? Finally I decide to wear a dress as you see the top stars wearing them on the red carpet. I bought a light purple dress somehow short because the birthday will be only for teenage girls and that’s coolJ.

Today, I might go to a mall and search for a suitable gift for her, and buy a sandal to wear it with the dress. My mom is trying to let me wear a 2cm high heels but I don’t like to wear them.She kept on telling me you have to wear something like this with that dress. Finally I convinced her not to buy a high heel sandal J yaaay meJ .

We all are travelling from a country to another by a plane. As usual you get to the plane; the host girl tells you were to sit and tells you that you have to put on your seat belts.SO, What if you found all of the hosts are dancing and singing with the seat belt J.of course now you all are laughing and say what is thatJ, but actually that’s happen in real. Yeah, it happens in the Cebu Pacific Airlines to add excitement to the passengers showing them the safely in keeping with the Christmas season. For sure now you want to see that. friday night

Yesterday, I went with my family to goodies (Lebanese restaurant). We get our dinner there and back to home watching the new movie that my dad has download it. Guess what, it was mission impossible 4J.

My dad made for us a home cinema with the popcorn and fizzy drinks. The movie was more than amazing especially there is tom cruise in the movie. Today morning, I woke at 1:30. I finished all my H.W and done with studying math. , Business and reviewing some English. I prepared some ideas for the rehearsal tomorrow in the theater. We ate today at dinner al baik after not eating it for more than 2 month even moreJ. I painted my small pottery cup. Then, I slept for an hour then I took my phone talked to my friend Heba. I took from her other ideas for our bake sale in the school. I get to a discussion with my dad about what happen in Egypt now L . We used to fight J about our ideas (joking together). Hope this week to be safely passed and hope for it to rain.

DAY OFF

Today was such an amazing day. Sleeping tell 1pm and chat with my friends on Facebook.

I waited to my sister to come back from the school and make sure that she has done her HW.

I went to Ikea with my mom to choose with her a suitable colour for the new furniture for the living room. Then, we went to mega mall to see if any shop has any sales or not. Lucky mom, she bought a new blouse J . I and my dad went to the Danube market and we get some cake. I have been searching for a new grab for my mom’s mobile but I didn’t find anyL. I have done some posters for the bake sale and am thinking to make it different. I just collect some new ideas and suggest it to my friends.

At 8:60 pm, I talked to my grandparents and my aunt on Skype. I really missed them.
